Google+ has over 40 million registered users
If i need social media statistics, i immediately go on http://www.socialbakers.com/. It is providing Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin statistics, also social media tips, news and articles. You can search statistics by different kind of titles such us country, brands, pages or places...
Last week, Socials Bakers announced that they are now supporting Google+. We will be able to see brand new Google+ statistics very soon. According to the website, Google+ has over 40 million registered users while Facebook has close to 800 million registered users.
Im looking forward to see how Google+ is going to grow and where it is gonna be in the marketplace...

A Turkish telecom company's brilliant Twitter campaign!
Here is the case study about a successful Twitter campaign. A Turkish company, Turkcell got 56.000 tweets around the competition over the 3 days that the activity was run and also reached 3.6 million followers at the end of the campaign!
The campaign has series of games that were all run through Twitter with post-its being removed.
